The Center for Science in the Public Interest

A not-for-profit consumer watchdog and advocacy group, the Center for Science in the Public Interest reviews the medical literature and the nutrition and health news, publishes a monthly magazine that covers important nutrition issues and provides helpful guidance on food choices, and lobbies the federal government to strengthen nutrition and food safety policies and regulations. Some of their advice and their efforts are occasionally a bit extreme, but they are generally fair and sometimes ahead of their time.
